Effective October 1, 2011, please observe the following security procedures from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.: 

1. The outside door of the area leading to the chapel vestibule should be bolted during your hour of adoration. 
2. When you arrive for adoration, please ring the doorbell to notify the previous hour’s adorers that you are waiting.  The doorbell is located to the left of the outside door, tucked behind the column near the drainpipe.  The doorbell is intentionally not easily visible to discourage inappropriate usage.   It may be necessary to ring the doorbell several times if there is no immediate response, in the event someone has dozed or did not hear.
3. If the outside door is bolted and there is no response to your doorbell rings, it may be necessary to follow established emergency access procedures to ensure that no one is in danger, or contact your Hour Captain, Division Leader, or Program Coordinator.
