Seventh Sunday of Easter The Ascension of the Lord May 20, 2012 May is the month of Mary - the Church honors Mary as the Mother of God, looks to her as a model of perfect discipleship, and asks for her prayers to God on our behalf.

» Celebrating 35 Years of Priesthood Please join us for an Anniversary Mass and Reception to celebrate the ordination of our Pastor, Msgr. Francis Malone, ordained on May 21, 1977. The Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, May 20 at 10:30 a.m., and will be followed by a reception in the Family Life Center. All Christ the King parishioners are invited to attend.

» Learn More About These Ministries Come check out the CTK Our House Cooks ministry at a reception on Wednesday, May 23 following the 6:30 p.m. Mass, as another year of service is celebrated. These volunteers cook and serve dinner to the residents of Our House Shelter every second and fourth Saturday of the month. A reception will be held on Wednesday, May 30, following 6:30 p.m. Mass for all volunteers or those interested in the Garden Angels ministry. The CTK Garden Angels volunteer to work around the church and school grounds to keep our gardens looking beautiful. All parishioners are welcome to attend.

» Vacation Bible School Parachute With the Angels & St. Catherine Laboure - God is your pilot . . . Destination Heaven! Check in with St. Catherine, pick up your flight plan, and meet your co-pilot!Children of the parish who are three and four years of age and those entering kindergarten through third grade are invited to attend Vacation Bible School on June 18 -22. Registration forms are available here or in the Church vestibule and the Church Office. Space is limited – students are assigned on a first-come basis. » Pray for Vocations Let us remember to pray for men and women who are discerning their vocation, especially CTK parishioners Deacon Andrew Hart, Joseph DeOrbegozo, Stephen Elser, Stephen Hart, and Jonathan Miskin. Encourage them in their pursuit of God’s personal call by joining join the CTK MOMMS Prayer Watch to pray for the intentions of each seminarian.
